Elisabeth Well... maybe I should give it a try again, I have read it three times but not for two years.

Katja Labonté It’s probably not for everyone but *I* personally love it.

Elisabeth Yes, all books aren't. But it takes all kinds of people to make a world, Jane Eyre lovers and Jane Eyre haters. (Not that I hate it, but it is more conveniant to say in such a saying.)

Katja Labonté Right!

message 5: by Kellyn (new)

Kellyn Roth Wow, I haven't read this all the way through since I was younger than Jane ... and now I'm like, "WHAT!? HOW WAS SHE SUCH A CHILD!? Jane, you poor dear." :P

message 6: by Katja (new)

Katja Labonté Hahaha!! I am older than Jane now and I’m like 😳 no way I could act like her...

message 7: by Kellyn (new)

Kellyn Roth Same! I would not be half as mature as she was. xD I mean, I also would've left the Spooky Possibly Haunted Mansion *a lot* earlier, and therefore probably starved to death, but you know. :P

Andrea Cox Lovely review!

Julia Hope I read this book in high school, and just loved it! Jane has become one of my favorite heroines.

Yes, mine too!! Such an epic book.

Anna |This Curly Girl Reads| You’re the second person recently that said they loved this book. I really need to read it in it’s entirety! I have read only a portion and it’s been years!

message 14: by Sharon (new)

Sharon Loves to Read Wonderful review! This is one of my all-time favorites, but I continue to scroll by it and my vague “RTC” in my GR “Read” list. I just don’t think I can find the words to describe the ups and downs, the feelings it lit in me, the characters, the themes, etc… You did a fabulous job!! One day I will try to review it properly.🫣

Aww, thank you so much! :) I’m so glad you love it too—hope someday you can find the words for it. It is so difficult though, isn’t it?!

Cari Legere It's best read by adults, I think. However a mature high schooler would also benefit from this l. My best friend is nearly 17 and calls this her favorite book.
Wonderful review!

Yes, I fully agree.

Thank you so much :)

Faith Mathewson Happy to see someone else who loved Mr. Rochester! He was most definitely flawed, but I couldn’t help but love him. He had goodness in him and he truly loved Jane as his equal!
