I think I'll read this in 2025! I just finished The Thorn Birds (another epic) and feel inspired. I like that this reminded you of your uncle :)

Oooh I LOVE The Thornbirds! I actually picked up a copy of that back in February at a used bookstore with the thought I need to re-read it b/c it's been 15 or so years since my first reading. Maybe we should swap epic reads in 2025 and report back ;)
