Seeking 8–10 Beta Readers for a Character-Driven Caribbean Sailing Adventure > Likes and Comments

I'm looking for 8–10 thoughtful beta readers for the final pre-publication review of my novel, Sailing Dream Maker: Rescuing Maya.

This is not a request for proofreading or grammar corrections. I'm looking for readers who enjoy adventure novels and are willing to give honest feedback about the reading experience.

About the book

When a young marine conservationist is kidnapped in the Caribbean, a small group of sailors, pilots, divers, and lifelong friends launches an unauthorized rescue mission that spans multiple islands. What begins as a search for one missing woman becomes a story about loyalty, courage, and the extraordinary things ordinary people will do for the people they love.

The novel blends:

- Caribbean sailing and cruising
- Aviation
- Search and rescue
- Maritime adventure
- Found family
- Treasure and historical mystery (light elements that set up Book Three)

It is not military fiction and it's not a nonstop action thriller. The action builds steadily, but the heart of the story is the relationships between the characters and the journey they share.

Ideal readers

- You enjoy maritime or adventure fiction.
- You appreciate authentic sailing and travel settings.
- You enjoy character-driven stories as much as action.
- You're willing to tell me what didn't work—not just what you liked.

I'm especially interested in readers who can answer questions like:

- Where did you become fully invested in the story?
- Was there a chapter where the pacing slowed?
- Did any characters blend together?
- Which scene stayed with you after you finished?
- Would you immediately read Book Three?

The manuscript is complete (approximately 110,000 words).
