Hello Kate,
I’m absolutely giddy that you reached out at all, thank you very much.
There is some audio news, as it happens, and it’s going out in a newsletter today.
You might know that two months ago I upturned the pram and out of the chaos came pre-orders intended to finance the next Anty Boisjoly audiobook. This worked (considering it’s me doing it) remarkably well, and we only now await Tim Bruce’s availability before returning to the studio in, fingers crossed, August.
Teddy, however, is taking a short hiatus while I focus on food and utilities. I know that in time — just as was the case with Anty Boisjoly — Teddy is going to achieve the acceptance necessary to rise to greater frequency, but at this writing I won’t be able to give her the attention she deserves until next year. I’ve just completed a novelette-length Anty Boisjoly Mystery that’s free and exclusive to newsletter subscribers and I very much hope that it increases the number of readers who might also like to hear about Teddy. Should that mad strategy prove promising, I have a secret but abiding ambition to do the same for Teddy’s next book.
I very much appreciate the encouragement, Kate. Thank you for reading and listening and writing.
