The truth is, I didn’t have to invent very much. Unfortunately, many of the events and trends described in the story are already visible in today’s world. That makes this novel feel much closer to reality than I would ever want.
I sincerely hope that the events portrayed in the book never become reality. I wish peace for everyone. At the same time, I believe it’s important to learn from history, understand the risks, and stay aware of where the world can go if people stop paying attention.
