Hello everyone! My name is Roland, and I'm joining from Switzerland.
I particularly enjoy reading history, religion, and scholarly nonfiction, although I'm always interested in discovering thoughtful books from other genres as well.
I'm currently reading The Unrepentant Renaissance: From Petrarch to Shakespeare to Milton by Richard Strier.
One book I believe everyone should read is The Republic by Plato because of the timeless questions it raises about justice, leadership, and society.

Hello everyone! I'm Hannah. It's a pleasure to be here and to become part of The Literary Exchange.
I've always enjoyed getting lost in stories that leave a lasting impression. Right now I'm reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix alongside The Book Thief, and both have been wonderful experiences so far.
My reading list is always growing, with classics like Pride and Prejudice and To Kill a Mockingbird next on my list. I love discovering books that are both entertaining and thought-provoking.

Hello everyone, My name is Pauline from the UK.
I have pretty wide-ranging tastes, I love classics and history just as much as fantasy and horror, and I always find myself drawn back to philosophy and religion too. There's something for every mood on my shelf!
One book I think everyone should read is Karl Polanyi: A Life on the Left, it's a fascinating look at economics and politics that really reframes how you think about laissez-faire ideas.
Right now I'm reading Oceans of Thoughts Book Four: The Little Pianist by Rosalind Severin McClean, which I actually discovered through another reading community and have been enjoying alongside my kids.
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and diving into some great discussions here!
