Hi there,I have a similar problem, as it seems to drag through books with a dot in the author name. It should be T Stedman, but some are T. I am the author (Goodreads Author Program account for this profile) and I would like to ask for your help in tidying up my catalogue, which is currently split across two author profiles and contains duplicate editions.
1. Author profile merge. Profile to KEEP: "Armand Du Silence" (author id 67000239, https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...). Duplicate profile to be merged into it: "Du Silence Armand" (author id 67051432, inverted name, 6 works). Please keep the name in its correct form, "Armand Du Silence".
2. Combining editions. The books belong to the saga "A Mari Usque Ad Mare", 4 published volumes, each available in Italian, English and French. The records should be combined as editions of the same work, as follows:
Volume 1: keep work id 250480379 "From One Sea to Another" (it carries the existing ratings and review); combine with it the English duplicates id 245998561 and id 250570461, the Italian edition id 245797025 "Da un mare all'altro" and the French edition id 245952241 "D'une mer a l'autre".
Volume 2: combine id 246682335 "Blood and Soil", id 250480743 "Blood And Soil" (English duplicate) and id 246682061 "Sangue e terra" (Italian), plus the French edition "Sang et Terre" listed on the duplicate author profile.
Volume 3: id 251224625 "The Breath of Africa" (English), to be combined with the Italian edition "Il respiro dell'Africa" and the French edition "Le Souffle de l'Afrique" listed on the duplicate author profile.
Volume 4: id 251294297 "The Indies and Silk" (English), to be combined with the Italian edition "Le Indie e la seta" and the French edition "Les Indes et la Soie" listed on the duplicate author profile.
