Thank you Keri for stopping by and liking my review of Locklear's historical novel 'A Storm Coming'. It would make Locklear's day if you could TBR this book and read and review it sometime soon in the near future. Really - it is worth all the accolades I have showered upon it. Kudos to him on this achievement. Do support him as an author and his work. Happy Reading to you too Keri this Summer 2026! Love to see you here, stop by more often - I know I tend to get busy with all my many activities and teaching commitments - but I love getting back to my GR friends on this platform. God bless you! <3 :) :D <3
Thank you for your thorough and thoughtful review. You brought tears of joy to my eyes. This work was an obsession to me. My purpose was to tell the unvarnished story of my people. I’m so glad you found it significant.

Reading, savoring, and then reviewing 'A Storm Coming' was my pleasure and good fortune, dear Chuck. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read your novel and to share my thoughts on it across my many online platforms. Awaiting the actual publication of the book on Amazon (especially Amazon.in) so that I can then post and upload this 5 star review of your book there.
It is wonderful to hear an indie author say that my book review touched them deeply - I feel very elated when I read such thank you messages. It makes the ARC reviewing process a success for me. Thank you for loving this book review of mine and appreciating it in words, dear Chuck - I agree with you - 'A Storm Coming' was indeed a beautiful and inspirational - unvarnished story of your people. Kudos!

I really appreciate your discussion of the four distinctive narrative voices and personalities. As a novelist myself, I've ventured a little into multiple narrative voices, trying to do so without making anyone sound like a cliche. (Then add to that, the need to have distinctive voices in the dialogue, too! I confess that too often, I think that my characters all sound like me.)
