Thank you for your review, Claris, I appreciate your detailed analysis of the story and its characters as well as the patience you took with my work, albeit not your usual genre. I also like that you were able to describe in detail the disconnect you experienced with the cover for A Lion's Head. This was my first experience indie publishing a mythic fantasy book, and I have found it interesting how, while older fantasy readers may receive the cover well, it disconnects from my younger readers—definitely shooting myself in the foot. I will be taking your feedback as I design my next set of covers.

You're welcome! I'm glad that you appreciated the feedback, especially for the cover. Having self-published multiple books, I've learned that having a cover that matches the genre it's written for is a key element for sure!
