A few of my books are on the wrong author page > Likes and Comments

Hello,

I joined Goodreads a little while back and I have 2 of my books correctly on my author page, but as I waited on my latest release to show up in Goodreads' system, when it finally did I noticed it and some of my other works are being attributed to the wrong Author page.

The books in question are "Before They Erase Her (Odra Book 1)", "Still Useful: How to Stay Human, Hirable, and Calm in the Age of AI", "The AI Seller's Prompt Playbook: Practical AI Workflows for Online Sellers, Authors, Digital Product Creators, and Small Business Owners", and "Pogo & The Barking Mountain".

I am unaware of who that other Thomas Anthony is, and I can provide any proof you may require to confirm the books noted above are my work.

In the future, do I need to do anything on the Goodreads end to ensure my books are added to my page automatically, instead of the wrong one?

Books moved to your profile.

Please edit the title / subject of your post and add [done] so other Librarians know it is complete

You can do several things to ensure that your books will be added directly to your profile.

1) You can add it yourself before they get the chance to be auto-imported from Amazon.

There should be a link (* Note: these are all the books on Goodreads for this author. To add more, click here.) below the list of all of your books on your author's profile page. You can use that to add your books.

2) You can update your name on Amazon to match the one on Goodreads (set with two spaces between the name and the surname - please do not try to remove that additional space as that is the method we use to distinguish between authors that write under the same name).

That way the bot will be able to distinguish between the authors and will import the books directly to you.

3) You can ask Support to merge you into the default profile (set with only one space between the name and the surname) + ask for those other books to be moved to another author profile.

That way you won't have to change anything about your name but books by other people writing under the name Thomas Anthony could be auto-imported to your profile as well.
