Kinda the same I’ve been trying to get my book out for a little while and the first people I go to is family and friends and they sometimes get my book and read it and leave there honest opinions you can do that and or I see a lot of people offer copy’s of there books in exchange for reviews or if you can you can put up posters wherever you can we’re you live that might work I hope this advice is useful. Good luck with your book.
I've started making posters for my book too, family and friends have brought it too which is a god send as it's pushed it out there slightly through certain algorithms. I've put my first one at a low price on kindle too to build a base and get more people reviewing the book.I have also signed up for kdp currently to push more through kindle unlimited which has leveraged around 1000 pages read in the first week.
Hope this helps.
My new book Cyborg Contact is up for book of the month (lesser known author), I'd love a vote for the August book.

I didn’t write my book to “market” it or chase sales. I wrote it because life flipped everything upside down and I couldn’t keep pretending everything was okay. It’s raw, uncomfortable, and very real, the kind of stuff people think but don’t usually say out loud.
Now I’m stuck in this weird space where I genuinely want the book to reach people who need it… not just sit there unseen. I want it to make a difference, to actually hit someone at the right moment and make them feel less alone or shake them into seeing what matters.
But I also don’t want to come across like I’m just trying to sell something.
So I guess my question is, how do you put something so amazing out into the world in a way that connects, without it feeling forced or fake?
Would really appreciate any advice from people who’ve been through this or figured out what works (and what doesn’t)
