Scott, I really appreciate you picking up the book! Not every review will be stellar, and I knew that coming into this. With that said, I appreciate the feedback. I will openly admit I'm doing some significant overhaul to book two in the trilogy having already heard some internal feedback along similar lines. Each and every review is an opportunity for me, especially as an indie author, to refine my craft and deliver a better result the next time around. That said, standby for Storm Warning. This is the most in-depth editing process I've ever done, and the end result should hit like a Kansas tornado. Again, thank you for your honest feedback, and I look forward to delivering a knockout second book!
