From what I got, East and West Kusan are part of a continent that got torn apart into two, with the East attacking and destroying West Kusan's ciry, Hanrich, 3 tears ago while Sabina was the commander of the army. She feels guilt for this and thus withdrew from the army until the queen summoned her back because the East may be planning something.
Sabina and Kellan are sent to spy on East Kusan and its king to figure out who the spy is while Sabina struggles to get back into shape due to the attack threw years ago, while they are on a time limit until the East attacks again.

lolllll I have a pinterest board (that I can't show bc spoilers lol) and some promo on there but I've been a lot better at maintaining the insta, and it's been pretty well-received. I'm coding a website throughout the summer.
In terms of arcs and giveaways, that's pretty hard for one person to do especially because I'm still a teen and I'm self-publishing. My main goal was just to get my book out there, although I'm planning on being more systematic for book 2 because I'm more familiar with KDP now.

Oh no, by e-arcs I meant when Indie authors give epub/pdfs of their books away in exchange for reviews. Also, for future reference, Pinterest is a great platform to build a small dedicated audience if you're part of the interactive teen writer community there and post frequently.

OH yeah, I was considering doing that at some point and was actually on the receiving end of a few of them; however, like I said my main goal was kind of just to publish; I wasn't expecting a huge audience and I'm still not, I'm mainly trying to gain more confidence in my own writing ability and my voice.
Thank you for the pinterest info! I actually do follow a bunch of teen writers on there but because I'm also so STEM-heavy, I literally have no time. I'm more familiar with insta's format and, therefore, I'm able to post on there faster without interrupting my schedule
