Scott Ickes I actually appreciate this review. It was my debut novel and it does have a lot of weaknesses. I've learned from them. I was a mechanical engineer and have realized that my technical writing experience didn't work well in this novel.

I have learned a lot since publishing First Contact: Lemurians. I'm sorry it didn't meet your expectations, but I fully understand. I'm probably more disappointed in it than you were.

My ratings and reviews on subsequent books and my beta readers have shown me that I've improved in my later books.

Once again, I honestly appreciate your feedback. This is what helps new writers like me improve.

I do wish I were a high school writer. I recently turned 67 years old.

My wife has even pointed out that I overexplain way too much. She has become my best critique and has helped me tighten up my writing.

I'm honored you took the time to put your thoughts down in a review.

Once again, thank you!
Scott Ickes
