Do you prefer happy endings, bittersweet endings, or unexpected twists?

bittersweet just makes them feel more realistic. but unexpected twists makes it SOOOO good. i don’t think i could choose between those

When I read something for enjoyment, I prefer happy endings--I hate walking away from a reading experience feeling depressed! But I do love unexpected twists, when they make sense.

Happy or bittersweet, I prefer ends that leave some hope.

Happy endings all the way. I cry too easily and I don't want to feel depressed after reading a book 🤣
