Well said. Harbinger is a better series as the religious dogma is not as prevalent nor as clear cut Christian ideology.

Any system that encourages and rewards people for giving all their own power away and not asking questions is suspect to my mind, and probably not worthy of devotion.

Thanks for this. read the first two years ago after buying all three. Still have book 3 but have never been able to face reading it and from what you've said, I shouldn't bother.
