Fantastic review, Karen. Will be keeping this one in mind as I have been reading more novels set during this time period. This sounds like an impactful and worthwhile read.

The damned Vietnam war really made a mess of an otherwise fantastic time in history!! It should have been a dream to be 23 in 1967, but someone's always got to go ahead and mess things up!
Julie, yes those years were a brutal time for many.. I was lucky to be only 9 yrs old and my family and the music of the time, was everything.. great personal memories!

Excellent review Karen. I can relate to this as my husband who was in the Navy was in Vietnam Nam at that time.
The life of Lee sounds like a story worth telling Kazza - terrific review again 🤗🎈⚽
The famous idiom states "Get out of Dodge", but Lee seems to jump from the frying pan into the fire.
