I'm glad you said this as I didn't get past book 1 and totally got the ick from it too. It felt dubious in it's messaging to me. I also will not be delving further into the maasverse
!! Yeah it’s just not the vibe—and honestly I think this is a series with many many critics, which makes sense bc the books are not technically well written in…any sense lol
