Was interested in discussing books by some indigenous authors, but it doesn't seem like anyone has posted in quite a while.

I don't think so.. I have had some success connecting with people on Bluesky, and we formed some reading groups. Lots of Indigenous folks on Bluesky.. lots of the elders and rural communities still use Facebook as well, might be able to find some book groups that way.
