I'm intrigued by what you wrote. Without revealing any spoilers, can you explain how this book seems fresher than other thrillers and what elements it has that others don't?
I will try my best to not give anything away here: the twist in this book is certainly nothing new. However I feel it is more of a throwback to things that we would’ve read in the 1970s or 80s. So much so that I did not see it coming.
What the writing lacked I felt that this nostalgic twist made up for, if you will.
This is a fun “pallet cleanser” type read.
