Jill How about some new releases? Does anyone have recommendations?

Some of my favorite older ones are Station Eleven, A Boy and His Dog at the End of the World along with the classics. The Circle by Dave Eggers - This is a bit too current and not exactly a dystopian novel but definitely a future look at our society.

F. Fraser Hi Jill,

I may be slightly biased, since I wrote it. Sheep Classified may be worth a look if you are interested in recent dystopian and literary speculative fiction.

It is a 57,000-word novel crossing six eras and two thousand years, blending historical fiction, political satire, philosophy, time travel and British humour.

The preview includes the complete Chapter 1 and part of Chapter 2, and takes about 20 minutes to read:

If it sounds like your kind of book, I would be very glad to hear what you think.
