Oh my goodness!!! Congratulations!!! So so so happy for you 💗 Praying all goes well!
If I may ask, how did the process get started towards publication? Do you have any advice? Thank you, and am truly so happy for you!!!
@ryliekaye_reads thank you so much!!! I’m planning on self publishing so for me I did two drafts of the novel sent it to a friend to read - did another really big edit - send it to a group of beta readers - and then did another much smaller edit. I found a freelance editor who I just sent the book to. From there, I will edit based on the feedback from the editor and send it off for the next round of edits in a few months. It’s a different process if you’re traditionally publishing so I can’t speak to that - but working on the book myself for a long time and having unpaid people that like like my genre read, the book really helped me prepare prepared to have the book go to an editor. I hope that kinda answers your question if you have any more questions - feel free to ask - I love talking about the publishing process and industry
@Maria Historical fiction and historical-inspired realism fantasy, all with clean romance woven into it!
