I’m offering free digital review copies of the first installment for my seven-part short story serial The Columbian Files Part 1: Silo of Echoes — a spy craft/palace intrigue, political thriller.
A retired military intelligence analyst who lost his wife a number of years back has become disgruntled and jaded by the direction taken by the country he took an oath to protect and defend.
As a result he has taken refuge in a decommissioned Cold War ICBM silo where he taught himself to be a "white hat hacker". One day he discovers email communications between a socio-political think tank and select members of Congress that seem to indicate a conspiracy to irreparably damage the American Constitutional framework.
The part of him that took that oath so many years ago sees no other alternative than to try and both expose and stop the collusion he has discovered. The analyst, simply known as L0ng1nu$, is drawn into a web of encrypted whispers, hidden alliances, and coordinated movements that threaten the very foundations of the Republic.
He also knows, if caught by the power-brokers involved, he very likely faces being branded an outlaw, treasonous or worse... a traitor.
This short story is atmospheric, sensory-immersive, relentless, and steeped in high-stakes intrigue. Silo of Echoes launches a crisis of conscious journey where digital warfare meets old-school patriotism. Every keystroke carries both gravity and risk.
Tropes: American Patriotism • Spy Craft • Palace Intrigue • Cyber Warfare • Deep State Conspiracy Thriller • Tech Noir • Psychological Profiling • David vs Goliath
For readers of: Vince Flynn • Brad Thor • David Ludlum • Daniel Silva • Mark Greaney • Tom Clancy
What I’m offering: A free digital copy (PDF/ePub)
What I ask: An honest review on Goodreads or Amazon, whenever you’re ready. No pressure.
If this sounds like the kind of layered and fast-paced intrigue that interests you, comment below or DM me, and I will get a free review copy to you a soon as possible.
