I had no idea this was a book. Added to my tbr!
I acquired the animated series. Had no idea it was a book first. Will check out both.

Although I recommend reading the original text, my favorite version of this story is the audiobook, narrated by Paul Whitehouse and Ester Coles. Their impressions and inflections of the characters bring great charm to the story.
audiobooks are not my thing. I'll read it eventually.
