An adventure for all.
Wow. Not what I would expect from ACD. More fun than Jurassic Park?
I admit makes me want to read Jurassic Park again, Cecily..
I was mildly amused to see someone wearing this t-shirt at the weekend:
Some build others destroy. LUDDITES...HA HA...
I just found out about this book when reading aloud to my boys about Mount Roraima from the DK Eyewitness “Wonders of the World”! I believe the mountain had yet to be climbed when the book was written.

I really enjoyed this adventure from Doyle.
Also found stories like 'The poison belt', 'The Disintegration Machine' and 'When the World Screamed' from the Professor Challenger series interesting...

A delightful saga, the professors is a lot of fun.

The professor is a real joy.
I loved this book as a child. Must have read it a dozen times.
