Wendy Waters You couldn't be more wrong. I cite the British Empire as an example of how an ingrained mindset of arrogant superiority makes any negotiations between the occupied and the occupier impossible. Solutions only lie in the re-education of the occupying colonisers and that is exactly what we are looking at in Israel. First, second or third generation colonisers who are so prejudiced against the locals balance is impossible. Here in Australia we have a similar issue. Many white Australians, despite being sixth generation, carry a deep-seated prejudice against the Aboriginal people who lived in this land for 65,000 years. As Oscar Hammerstein said "Prejudice has to be carefully taught."
