Hey Debbie, thanks for reminding me how good this author is, I loved this book too - great review, and aren't/weren't the Vikings fascinating. The TV series you mentioned are brilliant. Have you also watched the scandi-comedy The Norsemen on Netflix? It's brilliant!!! Oh and there's also the Norway fans at the World Cup with their brilliant chants - worth a look too if you haven't seen it. Great stuff 🤗⚽🎈

Excellent review— Cornwall is an amazing writer— I’ve not yet read this series but I’ve read many stand alone and a few early installments of several series to know any book is a 4-5 star read!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The second I read the word Vikings Haaland's face popped into my mind haha. This sounds like an incredible book that was perfectly written. Loved reading your stunning review. ♥

Thanks for visiting my review, Mark! I love getting my hands on anything about the Vikings. We really enjoyed the TV series but were somewhat disappointed with the last season. I'll have to make a point to check out that Norwegian chant you mentioned!

Haha! No, he didn't, Tina, but he said he would like to while doing fieldwork in his tractor. Now I just have to convince him to get his own library card so that he can borrow this audiobook from Hoopla!
