Hello everyone,I'm one of the readers who followed this book from the previous community, and I'm delighted to see it featured here as the first discussion in The Literary Exchange.
I've now posted my Goodreads review, and one idea that stayed with me was how often the book encouraged readers to examine Scripture personally instead of relying solely on tradition.

Hello Mark, thank you for your thoughtful review. I am glad that you found the book meaningful. As to your question, I'd say the Chapter 9 represents the heart of the book in that it lists the numerous Bible references to the Divine Love and all that it includes.

Hello Betty, you are welcome.
As to the books, New Birth comes next as far as when it was written and Gospel of God's Grace is the latest of the three. As far as recommending one over the other, I am really not sure. Perhaps choose the one that you feel drawn more to at this time. As mentioned, they all deal with the various aspects of the new life in Christ and salvation, just from different angles. Happy reading, whichever one you choose!

Hello Elizabeth and thank you for your review. As to your question, I would encourage the new reader to keep an open mind from start to finish -- I can't think of anything specific that would require an open mind more than other parts of the book.

Hi everyone! I originally started reading Jesus' Gospel of God's Love in our previous community, and I'm glad we were able to continue the discussion here. I'm about halfway through now, and the book has given me quite a bit to reflect on. Some chapters have made me pause and revisit certain passages before moving on. I began reading this book back in the previous community, so it's been nice to pick up where we left off here at The Literary Exchange. I'm now on the last few chapters, and I've really enjoyed taking my time with it. It's definitely a book that encourages reflection rather than rushing to the final page. Instead, it encouraged me to slow down, reflect, and revisit certain chapters before moving on. I appreciated that the author presented her ideas thoughtfully and respectfully, leaving space for readers to examine the Scriptures and arrive at their own conclusions.
One of the things I enjoyed most was how the book encouraged deeper reflection on faith, Divine Love, and spiritual transformation. While there were moments where I found myself questioning or reconsidering familiar beliefs, I appreciated that the book never felt confrontational. Instead, it invited honest reflection and meaningful conversation.

I think it is a subjective thing -- different readers may feel drawn to revisit different sections or even reread the book. From my experience, rereading any spiritual book or passage always gives me new insights.
Hello everyone! I joined The Literary Exchange a few days ago and started reading Jesus' Gospel of God's Love about three days ago. I'm still in the early chapters, but I've already found myself slowing down to think about some of the ideas instead of rushing ahead. A Conversation with Eva Peck
1. Every book has a story before it reaches readers. What personal journey, question, or experience ultimately led you to write Jesus' Gospel of God's Love?
This book reflects the culmination of my spiritual journey and the understanding I've gained over many years. My background included decades of in-depth Bible study within a non-mainstream Christian church, followed by years of exploring other Christian traditions and faith perspectives. Through what I believe were guided experiences, I came to a deeper understanding of Jesus' original message of God's love and salvation, which inspired me to write this book.
2. Was there a belief, misconception, or conversation surrounding Christianity that you especially hoped this book would address or challenge?
I wanted to focus on what I believe was Jesus' original message of salvation, the transformation of the human heart through God's Divine Love, imparted by the Holy Spirit. This theme of becoming a new creation and sharing in God's divine nature is central to the book.
3. While writing the book, did your own understanding of God's love change or deepen in any unexpected way? If so, how?
Writing the book strengthened and clarified my understanding. Putting these ideas into words helped deepen my appreciation of the Divine Love journey and laid the foundation for several books that followed on the same subject.
4. Which chapter or section of the book feels the most personal to you, and why does it hold that significance?
Chapter 9, "Divine Love in the Bible," is especially meaningful to me. It explores biblical passages about spiritual transformation, the new birth, becoming a new creation, and sharing in God's divine nature, ideas that are central to the book's message.
5. If our readers could ask you only one question after finishing the book, what do you hope that question would be?
I hope readers would ask, "How has this teaching worked in your life, and how can I apply it in my own?"
6. When readers finish the final page, what kind of reflection, conversation, or action do you hope continues beyond the book itself?
I hope readers will reflect on Jesus' message of salvation and consider how they can pursue their full spiritual potential in this life and beyond. Those interested can also continue exploring these themes in my companion books.
7. Looking ahead, what subjects or ideas are you most excited to continue exploring in your future writing?
I've continued writing about Jesus' gospel and salvation in several books. I'm also currently working on a more personal project that will be memoir-like in nature.
8. Finally, is there anything you'd like our community to know about you or your book before the discussion begins?
This book presents a Bible-based but non-traditional perspective on salvation. I encourage readers to approach it with an open mind, reflect on its ideas, and consider whether its message resonates with their own spiritual journey.
