Hi, I’ve recently finished my degree program and diving back into my first love of reading. I am an author of poetry but I love Erotica, romance and psychological thrillers. From one extent to the next. I enjoy a great read.
Hi, I'm JohnI am 79
I have been reading porn,,, specifically Dom/Sub porn since 1967. I was twenty, and in Japan, at the time. I got my hands on a copy of The Story of O.
That delivers what EL James only promises.
I have a large collection of porn in my library. Not all is great, but there are gems in that mine. If you're looking for something in particular, I'm always glad to help.
I have a particular interest in Cuck-Queens (the reality of that,.. they are Doms. not submissives)
I don't think Skylar is active any more. This group needs a moderator.
Who do we talk to about that,...
is there a 'we' out there?
send me a message
Hi, I'm J. M. Reines I'm an actress, model, and writer with a background in adult performance. I guess I'm a pantser because I just write what I feel, but most of my stories are at least based loosely on real experiences. I hope you'll check out my profile and say hi.
Hi,I'm John
GR admin finally did something about my request.
Skylar created this group and then left GR in 2014
It's been idle since 2014
If you have problem with that
I'm eager to resolve it
if not, you are free to leave.
I want to get input from all of you
I am 79 with a bad ticker
I'm not going to sit in this chair alone.
I need co-mods.
anybody care to step up?
I want to build a group that's comfortable for both men and women.
Why should 'smut and porn' be a segregated exercise?
The library is unlocked, if you want to share, feel free.
i'm going to post my library as soon as possible (it's enormous)
Those with 'specialized' publications,.. don't forget to brag when you post it. 😁
I would recommend that we 'friend' each other,.
It's the best way to talk since they eliminated DM
I've never been a 'mod' before so bear with me
I have a lot to learn
and i hope you're not in dire straights waiting for 'polls;
I haven't a clue on how to pull one off
oh, yeah,,. the cat's name was Barnabus
He passed in 2017
He was a sweetie.
I'm trying to be firm, yet diplomaticIf i have to talk to the entire group,..
just to get a message to YOU,
it's going to be a problem
Friend each other..... please
Hello and thanks for the invite. I go by UB on social media. i am in my mid 40s and have been into kink and BDSM since my late 20s. My particular favorites in BDSM erotica are D/s, spanking, bondage, tease and denial. It would be a shorter list to name what I don't like. I mostly read M/M but if it is good enough i'll try other pairings. As a Mod of my own groups may I suggest adding folders and sub-folders galore for different subjects and archiving old messages and encouraging book challenges and recommendations.
Looking forward to getting recommendations outside my comfort zone.
Thanks for the reply, i just sent a repeat of last nights broadcast (not sure if was recieved)
this group has been in hibernation for over 12 years and it shows.
I changed a few lines, tweaking the tone of last nights broadcast and then went to review it, and cant find the sucker.
I know just enough to get INTO trouble.
i'm pushing 80 and my heart is in bad shape.
I don't want to sit in the chair alone.
I'm suspicious why nobody stepped up when Skylar left.
some of the profiles that are sitting her, were mods before Skylar.
If you have books to post, please do.
At least a few.. your best sellers and your most recent.

What will you need your assistant mod to do?
keep the lights on if my ticker stops???That;s a ton more then Skylar did
It's going to take me a while to post the cream of my library,
I'm sure you have some gems too.
We both have been collecting porn for more years than most of these kids have been alive.
to answer your question directly
I don't know
But i am just learning how labor intensive this job is.
Hi! How are you doing? I've been apart of goodreads for some time. I read everything! I'm not tech savvy, but let me know what I can do to help.

Glad you're hear,
As i tied to say earlier.
I found this group seemingly dead, with bodies in it.
i want to put life in it.
I don't know what i'm doing.
this Mod thing wasn't my goal but somebody had to step up,
the bookshelf is unlocked,
When i get familiar with driving this bus, i'll do what i can to let you broadcast a message.
i don't know how many real members i have.
there's 230 bodies,.. i haven't a clue how many are alive.
thanks again for replying
John

walking around in a fog,...
that old saw "Be careful what you wish for,,,, you might get it',,,
just fell on me.
i don't know what to do, and i don't know were to start,
(i would rather be reading) LOL
Hi all, It is great being here. I will start by saying this group has potential. Maybe even renaming it can make it more up to date.
@John l can say I am truly grateful you breathed new life into this group. My favorite genre of romance is dark and more times than not you find BDSM lumped in with stuff that ls just abusive and criminal. lt will be fun to discuss BDSM topics in reading, in life, in experiences.
I find on GR group modding is as hard or easy as you make it. It is a matter of making topics and calling attention to those topics by posting. I find newsletter type DMs helpful to say 'hey look at this new thing in the group'. My specialty, for lack of a better term, is cataloging and book challenges. I am sure you'll get the hang of it. There is no rush and you've got people to lean on who care about this topic and this group as a whole.
Cheers x
[forgive typos but my 'i' has a mind of its own, working on a replacement keyboard]
Thanks for the inputNO, I HAVEN'T GOT A FUCKING CLUE!!!!
The only 'mod' job i've had is with OK Cupid in 2014.
I spent nearly twenty years as a stupersivor in the Govt.
managing people,.. yeah,.. this is different!!
I couldn't design a poll if you put a gun to my head
Hi everyone, figured I'd introduce myself here. I'm Erik Svalbard, author of a number of literotica series. I enjoy writing female characters who are forced to deal with life in a erotic dystopian world where they are often subjected to captivity, forced servitude and other such things, but use their strength of character and intellect to power through. Some of my most popular series are Slavehampton (see: Slavehampton Book 1: Arrivals), Spanked on the Rails (see: Spanked on the Rails: Emily's College Trip), and Street Slave (see: Street Slave (Book 1): Amber.)
I'm also super proud of my collaboration with Badger Therese, on the Covens of Bludfjord series, (see: The Covens of Bludfjord Book I: Discovery.)
Check out my other books here on my Goodreads profile: Erik Svalbard and feel free to engage.
I'm always happy to discuss the art of writing erotic with other writers and readers who enjoy the genre. I very strongly believe that it's possible to write erotica that has strong characters and world-relevant messages in it. When characters are put in erotic, submissive situations, it makes them vulnerable and therefore more likely to reveal some of the fundamental truths about life and the art of living.
Thank's Erik. This is exactly what i was hoping to make available. You're more familiar with the features of this platform than i am
Great introduction
put your most favored on the bookshelf,.. please
Thank you, I'm slowly adding my books. So happy to have a place to showcase, and already finding other authors' works that sound interesting to me.
That's the point,,, these bookshelves are a mor intelligent way to browse. you can find some neat stuff,,, also,.. if you see that the contributer has read it,.. you can ask questions if he didn't review it.
thats' what i was doing when i stumbled across this group sitting fallow.

Hi! I'm DX and I have be writing about kink and fetish for over 40 years. My three novels are available on Amazon. My latest, a Beautiful Prison is available here:https://a.co/d/071iuY5D
Happy reading everyone!
Hi D.X. and Erik! I used to befriend erotica authors back when I first came to GR and had a blast getting to know their inspirations and such. Welcome to the group. I mostly read MM romance but with BDSM any pairings will do depending on kinks.
Thanks for the welcome!Yes, BDSM is great for pretty much any pairings and is just such a great medium for exploring all sorts of aspects of the human condition. I mainly write MF, FF, with a heavy focus on the female perspective. I wouldn't call it fem-dom, though. More like strong females dealing with a male-dom world that's gone a bit dystopian.

So am I,,,i'm hoping to put more Dom/sub offerings into the bookshelf
I don't care so much for bondage / shibari. I've done it, but it's not what floats my boat.
do you see the pix down at the bottom of the main page...i'm looking for erotic pix that Amazon won't have a fit about...
those are both erotic, yet not pornographic
Contributions??????

I was looking at your books at work @Erik but i couldn't click on the cover for a description. I am highly interested in BDSM with a strong female lead [I tend to only read MM a they have strong willed subs] that's not femdom. I often fantasize about a strong willed [female] sub that just wanting a Dom that compliments their submission!
Welcome, @Rodin. What brought you into BDSM? For me it was reviewing BDSM romance [as a rookie/newb] and loving the Dom role [not knowing I myself was a Daddy Dom].
@John I hear ya! Loud and clear and if my profile is private let me know [I am home now so I can investigate the settings]. I will be adding my large bookshelf catalog as the days go on. I am on PST time and I work 8 hours a day. I can access GR at that time but not linger on pages with covers *chuckles* anywho. I am available most days after work for chatting. I'll offer my services as co-mod to BOTM, book challenges and bookshelf tagging.

It takes a bit of learning but when I ran my erotica group we had a folder that catered to not safe for work [NSFW] content. I am a fan for B and W pix myself.
Anybody who has contacted me,,, or 'friended' me, is not set to private.you can't get into a group with it set to private.
once you're in it, then you can.
There are about twenty or there was..
i have made several broadcasts and there are still a lot of mute members.
i would not be surprised if some are deceased.
Regardless... i'm going to start trimming the excess, but judiciously.
Once they wake up, they can always come back.
i want to bring this group back to life.
I've never been a mod before and i don't know how,,, but i'm going to try.
@John- I am mostly active at this time [and for about 3 more hours]. I'd love to see this group thrive. I will be adding books to the shelf shortly.
i think i have a woman offered to help, but i didn't find her messege for six days,,,,Sounds good Erik,,, i'll take you up on it
more than two mods won't hurt...
Thank you
i want a variety,,, omegaverse to BDSM. to romance,.. the whole gammut. i want to have things that will be attracftive to both men and women,,,

I didn't come to this site to become a 'boss', but i needed to bring this corpse back to life...
What i love doing is reading and writing reviews.
Hello, I’m Helen Marsh.I write adult relationship dramas about desire, discretion, marriage, temptation, jealousy, permission, and consequence. My books often sit somewhere near romance, hotwife fiction, wife-sharing, BDSM-adjacent dynamics, and darker relationship drama, although I would not describe them as straightforward erotica.
https://www.amazon.com/stores/Helen-M...
I’m especially interested in unusual arrangements: the rules couples make, the bargains they think they understand, and what happens when fantasy becomes something they have to live with emotionally.
Amongst the novels I’ve written, readers in this group may enjoy The Ashcombe Arrangement, from The Cheltenham Arrangements series, or Best Kept Caged. Both deal with unconventional adult relationships, negotiated boundaries, power, pride, jealousy, and the consequences of wanting more than ordinary romance can comfortably hold.
Thank you for having me here.

For me, the DOM is usually the "system", i.e. society, institutionalized captivity, etc. and the sub is the main character who uses her strength to make it through this unfair world without losing her spirit. For example, in Slavehampton the main theme is that everyone is a slave to someone else, no matter how rich or free you think you are. But some are actually chained and owned, like the protagonist Erin.
Perhaps try my Street Slave books: Street Slave (Book 1): Amber. In them, a young woman ages out of the foster care system at 18 and is forced into some BDSM style situations while trying to remain in control of her world.

Excellent! I will add those themes as well. I like to read reviews too!

we need to be attentive to the 'tags''i have not been and my library needs to address that
i don't have much LBTQ so if we add that to the mix,,, it needs to be labled as such
There wasn't much of that when i opened the bookshelf, either.
I'm not gonna say NO,,, i just want it labeled
I'm absolutly hornswaggled,.. why so many straight women voraciously read MM romance.
very puzzeling.
Hi everyone,I'm Evangeline Elkhart, author of The Saltwind Chronicles.
I write psychological sapphic BDSM fiction with a strong focus on sensory storytelling. Silk, satin, nylon and down aren't just aesthetics in my books, they're part of the emotional language of the characters.
I'm fascinated by how texture, memory, trust and consent can shape identity and relationships, and that's the thread running through all six books in the series.
Looking forward to discovering everyone's work as well.

Oh I like that. texture being apart of the emotional tie. Awesome!
@John- since this is a catch all chat I am letting u know here I will give my bookshelf entries no less than 4 tags lol I am obsessed with tagging my books with the genres and tropes I love.
Unapologetic_Bookaholic wrote: "Thank you for the rec! I downloaded Slavehampton 1 and 2."I really hope you like them!
BTW, I'll be tagging the books I added to the bookshelf here. Let me know once you've read some of my stuff what tags you think are most appropriate and I'll add/change them.

I write BDSM Epic novels and about the BDSM Lifestyle. I enjoy all types of BDSM Literature and some Dark Romance. I live in the Lifestyle as a Master and have been in the lifestyle for about 25 years.
I'm always looking to both promote my own work and to find out good reads out there. I really struggle to find books and stories I like. They often fall flat, and I don't end up finishing many books.
Always looking to also work with other authors, and I will need BETA readers occasionally. Please message me here on GoodReads or visit my website at https://PricelessGemstone.com if you're interested. Sorry, volunteer positions only. If you all read my books, maybe that will change. :)
Thanks
John
