Yes, you can start reading the book at any time. It just should not be finished until tomorrow.
Individual Challenge
June 15 - August 31, 2026
High in the mountains, a beautiful, castle-like hotel awaits you. It's luxurious and historic, and you've been anticipating your vacation there for a long time. But when you arrive, you soon realize that AMMP Springs may be more than it appears...
Welcome to the Haunted Hotel challenge! This is a choose-your-adventure style challenge, in which you will run into a number of ghoulies, beasties, and things that go bump in the night. Be careful what decisions you choose to make - you may come to a sticky end! But you also may come across nothing worse that overpriced souvenir junk.
This is an individual challenge, and you will be able read at your pace. Once you have completed the book for your task, post to the check-in thread to receive the next part of your story. Once you have reached an ending, you will be prompted to select a new activity. Each player will have two passes to skip for reading a task - you will have to read one of the books selected from your TBR list to substitute for it.
In this challenge, you can earn up to eight badges, one for each activity that you finish reading for. Standard AMMP book qualifications apply for this challenge.
