Circa24: Thanks for your astute, informed and critically expansive critique. You are not the only one wished for more about the trial. My treatment reflects the fact there is simply little information about the Kharkiv trial. No books devoted solely to the subject, no commercial movies (just grainy courtroom scenes filmed by the Soviets), I was lucky to discover a bare transcript of the trial at a university library in addition to passages in academic journals. This was the research paper I never did in high school and college (still not enough for the 80 credit hours needed for a degree).
