Question about editing publisher and ISBN > Likes and Comments

Hello, my co-author and I recently parted ways with the press we were going to publish with and will now self-publish.

We are already part of the author program and have an active book page, but the book has NOT been published yet. The old ISBN number has been rendered inactive by the press, and we just purchased a brand new one.

Can you confirm we can edit both publisher and ISBN ourselves by going to "edit details" under our book page and then add a "new edition"?

Can we ask you to mark the old, unpublished entry as "inactive" once I follow these steps and the new edition has been added?

Only support can alter ISBNs. You'll want to contact support. They might swap out the old ISBN with the new one. That way you don't lose those readers who have already saved the book. It's doubtful though.

It shouldn't be an issue to change the publisher field.

If you are publishing through Amazon, the bots will bring the book over here automatically.
