Subject: Crimes of Endearment—publication date, revised cover, author identity, and earlier version.
I am requesting assistance with the Goodreads records for my novel, Crimes of Endearment. I submitted a correction request approximately 2-3 weeks ago but have received no response, and the requested changes have not been made. This is my 2nd request for assistance. Please make the following corrections: 1. Change the publication date from June 17, 2026, to December 19, 2025. 2. Replace the original cover with the revised cover bearing my Kirkus Star (which I can provide). 3. Confirm that the book is assigned to the correct Lee Jones author identity (There are many other Lee Jones authors, but I have already indicated which two books I am the author of.
Please also note: I recently applied to the Goodreads Author Program so I could make some of these corrections myself. But my application failed for reasons not specified. I am working with Support to correct the problem. Meanwhile, please do what you can to correct the publication date and update the cover to the one that has my Kirkus Star review. I can provide the new cover if necessary. There may also be an issue with the relationship between Crimes of Endearment and its earlier version, Learning to Fly, that I self-published on KDP seven years ago. I have officially unpublished Learning to Fly. Please review the records for Crimes of Endearment and Learning to Fly and advise whether they should remain separate, be linked as related versions, or otherwise be corrected. I do not want to request an improper merger if Goodreads considers them separate works or editions.
