Hey! Sorry to pop in here, I try to stay out of review spaces because it's a safe place for readers, but just wanted to clarify: I did not put any ads in this book. I'm not sure how I could do that or what I would even advertise...
This book does have Cain from the Nighthawks show up, kind of like Greyson showed up briefly in the previous book, but that's not an ad--it's a part of the story line and was added because Cain wouldn't stop demanding page space in my head. He REALLY wants me to write his book.
In any case, absolutely no pressure to read if it isn't your cup of tea. Just wanted to clarify.

Ads in an ebook?? How strange! Wait so if you purchase it it still has ads or just if you download it like through KU? It wouldn’t surprise me if KU books started having ads 🙄

People are saying that there are ads being inserted into the text of the story, and yes it's on KU. It's not like a flyer ad insert.

Hmm based off the authors comment and what you're saying I'm wondering if it's a stupid Amazon thing. Amazon might be piloting this in random books or who knows how they're picking what books to do this in. I read around anywhere from 3-10 KU books a month and I have yet to see an ad. So hopefully this isn't to stay!
