https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...Scroll down to "Is this you? Let us know" and click the link if you want to claim the profile. Note that you can only have one Goodreads account per email address, so you'll need to use another one to claim this one.
Behind the scenes, you may notice an extra space between your first and last names. This is intentional and differentiates you from others with your name. Please do not change it.
I linked the new profile to your Dave Keane profile. If you wish to do likewise from the Dave Keane profile, remove the spaces around the square brackets:
[ author: David Keane|71502713 ]
That will result in a link: David Keane
We can also add Dave Keane as a secondary author to your new book, but I don't know if you want that.
Thanks very much for your help! I really appreciate it.When I click "Is this you? Let us know.", Goodreads tells me:
"Sorry, you are already in the author program as Dave Keane and only one author profile may be claimed at a time."
Since I'm intentionally publishing this new upper-middle-grade sci-fi series under my full name "David Keane," what would you recommend as the best way to manage both author profiles? Is this something Goodreads Author Support would need to handle?
Also, I'd prefer not to add Dave Keane as a secondary author on this book. I'm intentionally using David Keane as the author name for this series.
Thanks again for all your help! Dave

I am using my full name "David Keane" for this new book, since my previous were picture books and chapter books. Could a librarian please separate my book from the other David Keanes, create a distinct "David Keane (Goodreads Author)" profile for me, and link it as an alternate name to my primary Dave Keane account? Or suggest a better way to do this. Thank you!
