Thank you for giving Boots and Stilettos a try and for sharing where the story lost you. The contrast between Annie’s polished life in Milan and the realities of a Montana ranch is intentionally dramatic, but I understand that the premise did not feel believable to you. I also appreciate your note about the hummingbird feeder and the care those feeders require. Not every book finds its reader, and I respect your decision to stop. I hope your next read is a much better fit.
