Hi, I just joined the group and excited to talk about my recently published devotional.I live in Texas with my husband and dog, Bailey. All of our kids are grown and the Lord has been stretching me into trying new things.
I've led several Bible studies in the past, but now I've published one. I actually wrote it about 9 years ago for the women in our church. I felt strongly that submission was getting a bad rap and the Lord laid several lessons on my heart. I have shared the lessons with a couple groups at our church and I finally published it.
I've only written one other book, another prompting by the Holy Spirit, that book is a fictional story for brides.
I look forward to any chats about my devotional and engaging with other authors.

I am grateful to share with you my book, Encounters With Christ: Seeing the Father in Jesus.
This work was born out of a simple yet profound truth spoken by our Lord:
“He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:9).
In this book, I reflect on a series of encounters with Christ in the Gospel—moments where ordinary people came face to face with Him, and in Him, encountered the very heart of the Father. These are not merely historical events, but living revelations. Each encounter opens a window into who God is—His compassion, His authority, His mercy, and His desire to draw near to us.
As I wrote these reflections, my aim was not only to explain the text, but to lead the reader into the same encounter. For Christ is not distant. He still speaks, still calls, and still reveals the Father to those who come to Him with an open heart.
This book invites you to walk alongside those who met Christ—the Samaritan woman, Lazarus, Zacchaeus, and others—and to discover that their story becomes our story. In every encounter, we are invited to see more clearly, to believe more deeply, and to know the Father more intimately through His Son.
My prayer is that this book may help you not only to understand the Gospel, but to experience it—to see the Father revealed in Jesus, and to enter into the life He offers.
