That is truly the challenge and the drawback of wading into theology and pop culture, Andrew. How to be timely and timeless amid so much technological churn. As with the life of a theatrical film, most distributors used to count on maybe 7 years of relevance if they're lucky, playing out across various platforms from theaters, to DVDs, to airplanes, and television. With streaming, that timeline is compressed even further. So how to write a book with contemporary examples when you know that 7 years later, most will seem horribly dated is a real challenge. Grateful and surprised my first book, A Matrix of Meanings, is still in print 23 years after publication....:)
