I'm trying to figure out whether I could bear to read this. It was hard enough reading her work on the Irish female experience. BTW, try to get hold of Blue Road, if you can. A marvellous documentary about her life.
It is a tough read. I’ve just picked up the Red Chairs from a charity shop, and that looks another (tough read). I will look out for Blue Road, thanks for the heads up.
