DeAnn Thank you for saving my time. I suffer from those repeated phrases. The author can't come up with something new. I recently read a book full of cracked lips. Seriously?

Awkwrdly_bookish Omg these were my thoughts! The author “for research purposes” is to death. We get it, she’s smart why do we have to keep saying it? Writing was clunky, repetitive. There’s no chemistry between the MCs, to me. 52% in and I felt like the plot went still went nowhere. Hours long showers. Sunken eyes pale skin. “Oh no, why is that?”😒

Mina I agree with your assessment. I was disappointed with the execution of the story, I found it drawn out and tedious. But I hate writing reviews, so I appreciate that you did.

Livi Viehbe ck 3 stars altho feels generous seeing as this entire series (which i FORCED myself to finish) was extremely repetitive! Also was super cheesy to the point where i was cringing and so frustrated i had to take a break. weak main character. main character (luna) played the part of 'weak child/damsel in distress'. do not recommend

Madeline Roe This book sounded so interesting 💔 Thank you for your service

Cassandra Mojica Thanks for not letting me get into a book I wouldn't have enjoyed. I honestly dont know how these authors managed to get past the printing press with this much lazy writing. There is not love for thr craft anymore. No standards.

Shida Ketzer Thanks for this review! Made me feel much better for not finishing. The part about the binding ceremony was agony as instead of actually explaining it, they spent the whole time on "She panics, goes 'hysterical, oh, females, am I right?" & FMC brandishing a candelabra despite the fact that she herself admits there's nothing she can do if he wanted to hurt her. A candelabra wouldn't protect her. But hey, why not stretch the text with a total of nothing!
"A pang coursed through me." is another example of a set of words that tells us nothing!
