Scammers rampant? > Likes and Comments

Hello everyone! I am new here and I joined this group because someone by the name of Margarida Sequeira, emailed me offering her services to promote my book. She says she is part of this group. Has anyone else gotten any emails like this? Can anybody tell me of any experiences they've had or maybe some reviews about this particular lady? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Spam/scam emails especially from individuals (many of them from Nigeria) posing as book marketers are a major problem for authors. Some disguise themselves as bestselling authors complete with the famous author's photo.

Author Jaimie Engle posted a very helpful video message on this very topic in her newsletter The Write Engle in LinkedIn dot com.
I recommend all authors view this message as it has some good tips.

I'm sorry lol.... I'm talking about Margarida Sequeira, the lady that sent the original email to me. The one that said she was part of this group and that she could promote my book or something.
