Definitely agree. Got 25% through it and just couldn’t do it. I found the style and narrative voice incredibly annoying. The word “edgelord” comes to mind.
I will certainly give this a miss. Don't think I've seen such a low rating from you before Vit!
Wow, “clown, not a writer”? Everyone has their own tastes, but that seems overly harsh, almost a personal attack.
have you ever written a book yourself ??? the man might be a clown, but he is certainly a writer. and he is no more of a loser than you; in the grand scheme of things, we're all losers. he played up his loserdom for the book—it's autofiction, not memoir. in reality he's pretty successful. his new book Fights! is about to be published.
