Thank you for your accurate review. I cannot compel you read the next book "Ascension" but I would value your opinion on it if it ever came to it. It is less about Space and more of the continuing cosmic love story between Phanes & Maja and has a very unusual time travel structure. The writing style is more nuanced so that each section reflects the material - have patience with that, it bears fruit. Yes, it does throw you in the deep end on page one but I trust vs handhold my readers and the ending is worth waiting for... but I would say that wouldn't I. Writers are torn between writing for the masses (admirable) and writing for people who savour sentences. I lean to the latter in the second book. In any case, even if you never read it, thank you for spending the time in a world I created. Peter.
