Welcome! The thrillers I’ve enjoyed the most recently were
My Husband’s Wife- Alice Feeney
The Scammer- Tiffany D. Jackson
The Return of Ellie Black- Emiko Jean
I love when the thriller has only the smallest hint of what the plot twist, that if you’re not paying attention you’ll be blindsided.
Thank you, Kit! 😊 I love that kind of twist too — when the clue was technically there the whole time, but you don’t realize how important it was until everything clicks at the end. That’s the best kind of blindsided 😂 I’m adding these to my TBR, especially My Husband’s Wife. Thanks for the recommendations!
The death row club by V.A. Vazquez was a recent thriller that was super fascinating with an interesting twist. The death of dora black by Lainie Anderson is another. As an Aussie, it was great to have, even though fictitious, an intriguing look of old Adelaide police work.
I like, The Tenant by Frieda McFadden. I like the chaotic twists. And how she wrote her main character from a man’s point of view.
Hey hey! I love anything spooky related; I have entire bookshelf dedicated to my phyco thriller/suspense/mystery books. I just started posting reviews seriously here on Goodreads. I NEED a good thriller recommendation; I am in a slump! My favs this year that have me still dwelling on them is "The Butterfly Garden" and "You'll Never Know". A book I recommend to everybody that I read last year was "Such Quiet Girls" by Noelle Ihli. I'd love to meet other thriller readers!

It’s more psychological/body horror than straight thriller, but it really gets under your skin and stays there. I’m with you on books that keep lingering afterwards. Happy to connect!
hey! I totally recommend "the dead husband cookbook" by Danielle Valentine... if you are looking for crazy family secrets! such a good read!
Hi everyone! I'm Dan Martin, an author and lifelong reader. I especially enjoy psychological thrillers, historical fiction, and stories with strong characters and a bit of mystery. I'm looking forward to discovering some new books and meeting other readers who enjoy the same kind of stories.

I especially love family secrets, unreliable characters, dark twists, and books that make you suspicious of absolutely everyone. 😂
I’m also a psychological thriller author, so I’m always interested in what readers think makes a twist really work.
What thriller should I add to my TBR next—and what kind of twist has completely surprised you in the best way?
Feel free to add or follow me. Looking forward to meeting more thriller readers here!
