Your kind words mean even more, given that you usually avoid science fiction, fantasy, magical realism, and mythology.
Thank you so much!"
Maybe I just needed to find the right mix of magical realism and myth, Kevin. Loved them in your book, and loved the Thai setting. Germany was a good choice, too. I'm sorry I didn't work Hannah into my review, but she's there in spirit.
Thanks so much for your comment...and for writing the book!
It sounds like the author did an immense amount of research for the book, and blended all the storylines perfectly. Nicely done. And great review Bella. 😊
Thank you, Barbara.
I think he did do a lot of work on this book. He and his wife love Thailand. The writing was very good. He does lean heavily into magical realism. I don't always take to that too well, but this time, I did.
Bella, what a gorgeous review of this five‑star gem. Ansbro’s prose is truly smooth as silk, and I’m so glad this one captured you too.
