Hello, Booktok!
My name is Victoria Elizabeth, and I am a YA writer as well as a horror writer, nice to meet you! (So now that we're friends, why don't I give you a little inside scoop?)

I have been writing a contemporary YA LGBTQ novel called, It Gets Better, Harper Meadows about a boy who lost his little brother in a school shooting and who must fight with himself to find reasons to keep searching for a life to believe in. Harper meets Shawn, a smart-mouthed country kid with a secretly warm heart, and Harper falls for him. But this is rural Tennessee in 2000, and in this school, who you choose to love and who you choose to become can get you in a lot of trouble.

I wrote this to reach those who know the deepest cuts of loss, those who have had to create their own sense of family when the one they knew and loved broke away.
