First two books are completely unlike the rest of the series — things click in Heir of Fire.
So far it is very mediocre! But I've heard that same thing from a bunch of other people and I like the other two series enough to keep at it.
There’s a little ACOTAR cameo in the last book!
Also there’s batshit witches and wyverns in Heir of Fire, which completely won me over.
