Great. I'm planning on participating in this read.
It's a quick read. Just be ready for the ending its a bit intense in descriptions. Was reading it in bed and was taken by surprise and started laughing. Hubby wanted to know what was so funny and gross. I read it out loud to him. He was taken back by it.

34% tonight and I am impressed by the well-written stream of consciousness musings of the main character, many of which are LOL. The style is amusing and propulsive, pushing the reader along the storyline with confidence and caustic humor. It is a plot that does not hold out any promise of a lasting impression, at least from my point of view. But then reader comments suggest that I may need to "think again". I am looking forward to our hen pecked hubby finding what he is looking for to ease his anger and frustration. It may be an explosive exploit that blows his expectations away!

I got that right out of the gate. ANd the family spends pretty much the whole time at each other's throats.
Finished last night. There wasn't a whole lot of suspense as to where it was going to end up. But I still enjoyed it. It's amusing to see someone so self-centered and so clueless get some comeuppance. I mean, we've all had to deal with a hugely narcissistic person who thinks they are entitled to basically everything from everyone during every given moment. So I thought this was a good way to get a vicarious bit of satisfaction for seeing a douchenozzle get his.Will the story stick with me? no. I don't think it was ever meant to be that. But it was quite entertaining and I look forward to more of her stuff hopefully in the future.
All that being said, yeah it was definitely squirm-worthy. YIKES!! LOL. I'm going to go back to the contemporary romance series I started last month as a quasi antidote!

My Book Review posted today. I liked the story, especially the author's writing style and caustic humor. The grand finale was explicit, very well written, and could make a man want to squirm (and scream)!

I chose 3.5 stars too, Fran. I enjoyed the story, but only so much.
I read this one as an ARC, I enjoyed the writing style so much I've been slowly reading through the other books by her. I enjoyed it because it didn't expect to be anything more than what it is.
I'm finding it really interesting to read what everyone is thinking of the book.
