Lyn Hi Lyn Cote here~ Just found your group and thought I'd see what you all are doing or reading. This summer I'm treating myself to reading my fave Regency romances by Georgette Heyer. Any other fans here?

Rebecca Trump I've heard Georgette Heyer is really good, but I've never read any of her books. I'm on the launch team for Lynette Eason with her new book, Final Approach, which I've recently finished. I'm now reading Darlene L. Turner's newest coming out in August, Danger in the Wilderness. I'm also on her launch team. It's been a fun summer!!

Marie Sontag I just finished book 2 of Lila Guzmán's series about an orphaned 16-year-old in Texas during America's Revolutionary War. Lila crafts well-rounded characters, both fictional and real, placing them in historically-based settings. "Lorenzo's Secret Mission" is a historical novel for middle-grade readers. Equally challenges adults readers with its style and historical impact on a part of the war few authors write about. All Texas middle school students should read these three books. I can't wait to start the last one, "Lorenzo and the Turncoat."

Diana C. Kobylak Hello Marie,
Lila Guzman’s stories sound really intriguing and would love to read them. Thank you for sharing your post. I am currently reading a series by Rebecca Connolly beginning with the book, An Arrangement of Sorts. I am currently on book 6 and have 2 to go by the 17th. Audible is allowing me to read them all included in the plan provided I finish the series by then. It’s the story of 6 bachelor friends in the 1800’s and how one by one they meet the love of their lives, with complications of course. I am looking forward to seeing what else you are reading…

Sarah Brazytis I have been reading Sarah Eden's series starting with Seeking Persephone with my family! We just finished Romancing Daphne last night. They are quite enjoyable!
@Lyn, have you read Georgette Heyer's A Civil Contract? It has become one of my top favorites!
