message 1: by Genie (new)

Genie Higbee The protagonist is so very flawed while being so very human! This epistolary novel reveals Sybil's personality, as we observe how much she reveals or distorts about herself in each relationship. We begin to understand what is driving her peculiarities and in doing so the reader may reckon with his/her own grief, guilt and pain. Readers may also then, find empathy for the courage it takes to be in a fully-expressed relationship with another human being. (This character reminds me of Olive in the novel, Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout.)

Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Easy-to-read Realistic Witty Wonderful characters
